	Fundraising is an important part of a Venture units activities. All of the money raised goes towards new equiptment such as Tents and Stoves, as well as paying for major activities such a Peak Assault. This is some of our fundraising from the past year -


	May Fayre - The Stocks:-



	Back in May we managed to soak all of the Uni,t the Town Mayor, a local Teacher and one of the Landlord of the White Lion - and get people to pay us to do it ! This raised over £100 many thanks if you took part.


		Help from the Local Community:-

	This year we have been Generously supported by a local Pub the White lion and landlord Peter Edge. A donation Back in May helped to pay for two new Hike tents for the unit, and at the recent re-opening of the pub after refurbishment CHAS AND DAVE performed a gig with the proceeds going towards the new minibus fund !
